Inspired by a suggestion from Frank Seifferth on the mailing list, this corner of the tildeverse now takes comments.
👉 Please note, your comment will show your email address, lightly obfuscated. For example, mine appears as "<barnold⊙tilde·club>". Comment only if you're comfortable with this! 👈 You are of course welcome to send me a personal email instead.
To make a comment, send me an email that will automatically appear as the latest comment, provided it conforms to certain things:
It has to be from your tildeverse address.
The subject must begin "Comment barnold". You can optionally add more to the subject to form a title to your comment, e.g. "Comment barnold I wish to speak to the manager."
The mail must be plain text UTF-8 with no other parts (no images, no HTML etc).
Its body musn't be bigger than 8KiB, about equivalent to filling 100 lines of 80 column text.
These are cautious limitations. I might relax them later, or not. If you send me a comment mail that breaks any of those rules, there is a good chance I'll still see it. Mail from non-tildeverse addresses will go into my inbox as usual. Otherwise it will be filed into a "comment held for review" mailbox where I'll probably look at it.
Probably there are bugs, I hope not security holes. Please try to break it and let's see what happens!
